Zeiss CP.2 Configurator

The Compact Primes CP.2 from Zeiss, specially developed for the requirements of HD, offers a wide range of focal lengths and an homogeneous cinema ergonomy throughout the serie.

The CP.2 not only offers you the flexibility you need, but also the competence and performance you expect from your equipment:

Covering all the Full Frame format (24x36) their use on formats S35 or less has a total lack of vignetting and distortion. Their lens construction eliminates almost completely the flares and their perfectly circular 14 blades iris create an extremely soft and natural gaussian blur .

Optically designed to form an image on a digital sensor, the coating of the lenses eliminates ghost images caused by the brightness and the stray rays reflected by the digital sensors.

With a front constant diameter of 114mm it is quick and easy to remove and reinstall a matte box on each change of lense, since all accept the same "Clamp on" back (of 114mm).

Focus and diaph rings fall exactly at the same level over the entire range (except the 100mm and the 135mm) and therefore allow you not to have to move and adjust your follow focus to each optical changes. In addition they offer the same focus race of 330 ° for an extremely smooth and precise focusing.

Very light they all weigh less than 1Kg (except for 50makro, 100mm and 135mm) and are therefore perfect for shoulder shooting and steadycam.
